Barrel Cactus-Man, was the second in the Cactus-Man series that points to the bond that humans share with the Sonoran Desert.  The barrel cactus is a shorter, rounder, cactus then the  stately taller Saguaro cactus. The sculpture shows a man morphing into a barrel cactus (or a barrel cactus morphing into a man) blurring the line between man and nature and reminding us of the beauty of the world around us.  

The patina, or coloration, imitates green tones of the cacti found in the Sonoran Desert.

There are also two other, more detailed, larger versions of the original Cactus-Man (6" tall) available: Mid-Sized (24" tall) and Large (46" tall)
