             On Straight

One day I was sitting in my studio contemplating the subject of my next sculpture, but I could not come up with a single original idea.  Then I remembered that my boss  at the Sculpture Resource Studios said I should create a sculpture of a person screwing his head on straight.  Sitting in my studio (innovation running dry) I thought this was a great idea for a sculpture, because I often felt, especially at work, that my head was in fact not screwed on straight. So, I appropriated my supervisor's idea and created the sculpture you see before you.
